Global Village has announced the opening of a 51-day Spring Festival to run until May 1. Visitors will have free entry to the venue during this festival.

This first ever Spring festival will witness the participation of more than 250 retailers in an outdoor ‘souq’ style setting, merchandising several categories of products from clothes, jewellery, accessories and gifts. It will also host several restaurants and kiosks offering different cuisines.

Abdul Reda Ali Bin Reda, project director of Global Village, said, “The Spring Festival marks a significant step forward in achieving our bigger vision of transforming the Global Village into a year-round cultural entertainment venue. It also comes as a logical extension to an already established brand that just concluded a successful 102-day run in its 13th edition.

“Through the Spring Festival, we aim to offer our loyal visitors and Dubai’s tourists a unique and affordable shopping and entertainment experience.”

The entertainment events will include 50 fun fair rides, a Kite Festival on March 20, reptile pavilion, and tents with sporting activities.
