Important – The New Emirates ID card Enrollment Schedule 2009
9 Comments Published by dubaigirl December 29th, 2008 in Living, Moving, News, People, Work.The Emirates Identity Authority has announced the following schedule for the ID card registration of the expatriates in the UAE. They have been divided into four different categories based on profession/industry; each with its own time frame for registration.
Residents and Professionals working for the Government and the Private Sector have been given a deadline of Feb 28, 2009 to register for the ID card. Group 2, which comprises of administrative and craft working residents in the private sector, including Banks, Insurance, Tourism, Hotels, etc, can apply from March 1, 2009 until June 18, 2009. Group 3 covers unskilled working residents, which can register from June 20, 2009 to September 30, 2009. Finally, Group 4 which covers construction workers in the private sector can register from October 1, 2009 to December 30, 2010.

Myself and my wife already registered. But for my son and daughter Emirates id card not taken. beucase they are small child. Now i beleive to register they need to submit photos. But the prescribed none of this studio people dont know. Two time i went with photo to register my children. but dept not accepted. so i wanted to know who do check to get
the required and which i studio i need to approcah for getting it correct prescribed size
