Hey...aud girl, its funny you wouldn't marry Dubai guy and marry a Westerner because they would know how to treat a girl and not just someone to [snip].

Im sorry to burst your bubble but, every guy wants to [snip] every girl. Im sure you dont want to [snip] every guy just like evey other girl doesn't either. But, thats because you get offered by every guy you walk by everywhere you go postman, bus driver, police officer, boss and your best "guy" friend. Oh ya, even they want some action only if your willing to give it up.

You think there aren't any h**kers in other coutnries? In America, you dont even have to leave your house to go get some its only a phone call away. And, guys freak out about their wife because its sooo dayam hard to find a girl who finally says YES :)

No, really guys will always freak out because, girls become our property in a sense. Not really but technically yes its our property when you get married. And, most of the guys have these insecurity issues which they tend not to show because they want to be MACHO MAN. However, to them when something threatens their prize possession they act childish and freak out. Constantly create weird imaginations and think they might loose the girl. Not all of us are like that but, guys are always going to be guys.

In order to find something you have to look in the right places and go to the right places to find what you are looking for. Obviously, your looking and going to the wrong places thats why you keep getting dissapointed in finding a Dubai guy.

Just personally speaking not that you care but, Im an Indian Muslim whos moving to Dubai in 2 weeks. Im sure its going to be a huge change than Los Angeles where i am right now. I thought the same about going to a different country to find a decent girl. Because, girls in America are gone KOO KOO even the muslim girls. But, I realised the same thing im just not looking in the right places. I mean I cant tell my kids "oh ya when I met you mom she was drinking and dancing with guys in the club and shaking her ass to T-pain". That not exactly how I picture meeting my wife. Than again who knows what would happen. Just a thought.

Now DUBAI:

Its a Muslim Country I mean do we need to say anything more about how to dress and what not to do? Just read up on Islam it will explain why its asked to do such a thing and be in such a way. Just a suggestion for people trying to move to Dubai before you go there open up an English Quran Book it will expand your brain a little more than you thought and make you look at things a little differently.

Its a desert you are not going to Iceland. Ofcourse its going to be HOTT.
Im sure your going to have a job so you'll probably be inside during work hours anyways. Look on the bright side NO TAX! Im tired of my paycheck being cut every week 30% tax for what??? Trust me you could do a LOT more with that money.

We only live once and we can always give something a try and say we did it instead of not doing it at all.

Well, I am considering to work in Dubai in a restaurant. What should I expect in terms of food habits and wine consumption in restaurants? Does anyone have advices on how to proceed to find a good position for a food and wine savyy as I am?
I have two large size dogs, are they allowed in the country, how can I bring them with me?

I would never marry a guy from Dubai...all they do is showoff their cars and shop. Both native Emiratis and the Indian background ones are hypocrites who are big on Islamic culture, but they are the same men drinking at the pubs and trying to find Russian hookers on weekends. No thanks...I would rather go with a Westerner guy (muslim or not) who has had REAL relationships with girls, and who can relate to them as PEOPLE, not just someone to fuck. Oh yeah...and these Dubai guys are the same ones who freak out if their wife doesn't wear an abaya or isn't a virgin. i don't like thet westerner guys who try to find a new model every year...but don't think the dubai muslim guys are so innocent either.

hmmmmmm, all very interesting comments! The bottom line is that Dubai is an Arab country in the Middle East. While they are very 'westernised', they, like every other country in the world, have their own set of values and way of doing things. Nothing is perfect, but then which country in the world has got it 100% right? For anyone considering a move to Dubai, don't accept any job offer, regardless of the money, until you have spent at least a week or two out here checking it out. Yes, the heat is intense. Yes, the traffic is crazy. Yes, women get stared at. Yes, the money you can earn is huge. Yes, the rent is ridiculous. Check it out for yourself and make your own decision. Is it for you? If so, come and live here with an open mind and enjoy it for what it is. Not for you? Don't come!

Oh my God some people are so narrow minded! Bottom line if you decide to move to another country, deal with it and accept it for the way it is - if you can't do that then go home! Dubai is an Arab country, albeit very westernised in comparison to other countries in the Middle East - it is a different culture!
