Hotel apartments totaled 7,277 with an 8.7 % increase in occupancy levels. The average occupancy levels for Dubai hotels last year was 81 % as against 72.4 % in the year 2003.

Indian exports to Dubai in 2006 were $6.4 billion. India’s imports from Dubai were $ 4.5 billion. India's booming economy and a large number of corporate travellers and increasing disposable incomes of the middle class have changed the dynamics of the outbound travel sector. While aspirational values of Indians wanting to travel abroad are surging, the travel now and pay later option and unbelievably cheap tour packages are giving wings to their dreams.

Dubai tourism is being so aggressively marketed, it is definitely going to be on the Indian traveller’s list of top spots in 2010. Golf courses, bellydancing, no dress regulations, no liquor regulations, no visa restrictions, Dubai is literally doing everything it can to attract tourists. Dubai tourism is booming. UK is among the top 10 source markets for Dubai's booming tourism industry with just under one million UK residents visiting the UAE. Dubai tourism is a booming business, with hundreds of thousands of tourists.

Hello All,
My husband, my daughter and myself are moving to Dubai with Emiriates Airline in May.I was wondering if anyone could give me a little advise on things that I should be bringing with us when we move to Dubai and things that we should not bring.
Also we are bringing our Golden Retriever Dog with us and I was wondering if anyone with any experience with moving their pet to Dubai might be able to give me some good advise on the best way to travel the dog on the 16 hour flight from the USA.

Any help will be appreciated. Have a great day.

Dubai is quite a dynamic city that changes with the seasons...literally! Visit Dubai city every few months and you literally won't recognize various places you'd just visited on your last trip - the pace of development is so fast. Lots of breakthrough projects planned and underway in the UAE - quite an example for the rest of the world.
